Position Overview

The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive electrical cost estimates for various construction projects. This role focuses on analyzing project specifications, plans, and requirements to provide comprehensive estimates that align with company goals and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze project specifications and blueprints to prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems and installations.
  • Utilize estimating software to create accurate and efficient cost calculations for materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for developing estimates.
  • Prepare and present bid proposals to clients, ensuring clarity and thoroughness in all documentation.
  • Monitor project costs and assist in budget management to ensure profitability and efficiency throughout the construction process.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an electrical estimator in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, materials, and codes.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools relevant to electrical estimating.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
