Job Purpose

The HR Coordinator provides comprehensive support to the Human Resources department for the primary focus of recruitment. The responsibilities will include assisting with recruitment processes, employee onboarding / offboarding, interviewing, personnel management, and administrative support. The ideal candidate for this role is an engaged, team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review job applications and schedule phone screens to assess candidates interest and qualifications for the job.
  • Assist in recruitment activities and pre-employment tasks.
  • Responsible for employee onboarding and offboarding of corporate personnel.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding of non-corporate personnel.
  • Assist with collecting and processing exit paperwork, updating HR records, and conducting exit interviews as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date corporate employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and training records.
  • Assist in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date non-corporate employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and training records.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating employee training and development programs.
  • Support HR initiatives such as performance management, employee engagement surveys and activities, and platform(s) development / utilization.
  • Prepare HR-related documents as required.
  • Assist the HR team to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with payroll administration, including data entry and timekeeping.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
  • Conduct all HR processes confidentially and compliantly.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources, or similar is preferred but is not required.

At least one year of prior experience in an HR role is required.

Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Must have a team player attitude with a desire to support the company as a whole.
