TITLE
Technical Production Specialist
JOB SUMMARY
The Technical Production Specialist provides essential production support for the Division of Music, Working in a complementary role to the Performance Hall Manager. This position is responsible for leading the design and implementation of key technical elements for productions. The role requires demonstrated expertise in theatrical lighting, with proficient capabilities in sound, video, and the recording / archiving of performances. This role is critical for ensuring high-quality, professional-level performance experiences and requires extensive hands-on technical work. Work is performed under the dual supervision of the Manager of Performance Facilities and the Director of the School of the Arts and Design and involves considerable collaboration with faculty, staff, and students.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in technical theater, theatrical design, music event production, music technology, digital media, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENT
Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regular scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position.
All employees share the responsibility of maintaining information security and privacy requirements within the university by adhering to Federal and State regulations, and TWU Policies & Procedures.
Valid Texas driver's license and an acceptable driving record as required for university Driver's Authorization.
Evening and weekend availability is required to support rehearsals, performances, and events.
Ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs.
