Industrial Security Intern

The Industrial Security Intern will be provided the opportunity to work across multiple security domains with the opportunity to work with and be mentored by a dynamic Industrial Security team. Domains will include Personnel Security PerSec, contract specifications, operations security OPSEC, Physical Security and investigations. There will also be opportunities to explore Information Assurance in protection of computer systems, networks and information.

Position Responsibilities :

• Assist with processing personnel for USG background checks
• Assist in the development of security awareness training materials
• Assist with reviewing contract security specifications
• Develop impact statements concerning implementation of classification guidance
• Assist in the planning and execution of investigative actions
• Assist in the development of interview questions
• Assist in the preparation of evidence and reports
• Collaborate with the Security team, Facility Security Officer, and other Security leaders
• Participate in meetings and discussions to share ideas and insights for driving continuous improvement to security projects and initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

ITAR Requirement :

This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations ("ITAR") and / or the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR"). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and / or the EAR, applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and the EAR, or a person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
