Define the technical target state for the product and drive initiatives to achieve the long-term strategy. Participate in architecture governance forums and contribute to key architectural decisions. Evaluate technology recommendations and provide insights on emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices. Design and implement creative and scalable software solutions, demonstrating the ability to think beyond conventional approaches to solve complex problems. Develop high-quality, secure production-ready code and review / debug code written by peers. Identify opportunities to automate or eliminate recurring issues to enhance the stability and performance of applications and systems. Lead technical evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural design, technical capabilities, and suitability for integration into existing systems. Strong hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability. Advanced expertise in one or more programming languages (Java required; additional languages a plus). Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery (CI / CD) practices. Deep understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, including CI / CD pipelines, application resiliency, and security best practices. Demonstrated technical proficiency in software applications and technologies within disciplines such as cloud, AI / ML, or mobile. Solid understanding of financial services industry systems and architecture. Practical experience designing and developing cloud-native applications.
