Ford Component Sales, LLC (FCS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company aligned with the Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD). We are a flexible sales organization that directs resources toward revenue opportunities identified by FCSD.

We are in search of a Planning Analyst that works closely with supply base to drive on time delivery of ordered material to ensure customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develops understanding of function for procurement of parts, manufacturing processes, and supply base development
• Establishes and maintains positive long-term relationships with suppliers through regular communication of performance status, supplier meetings, and supplier visits
• Obtains and maintains supplier delivery promise dates, confirmed ship dates, changed ship dates, and issues updates for open orders
• Identifies and documents supplier delivery issues and codes for supplier performance reporting
• Identifies issues and develops plans to improve and report On Time Delivery
• Analyzes and monitors supplier deliveries and supplier delivery performance
• Engages problem suppliers to drive and improve supplier delivery
• Coordinates activities within the company to improve the working relationship with the customer and supply base
• Performs supplier maintenance in required systems
• Drives all supplier EDI implementations
• Issues and follows up on supplier 8Ds and corrective actions
• Obtains return goods authorizations (RMAs)
• Handles QOS and purchasing metrics tracking and reporting
• Designs, implements, and reviews reports that provide the necessary information to monitor customer requirements and supplier performance
• Identifies and implements continuous improvement opportunities within the supply chain function
• Other duties may be assigned as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
