Compensation : 20 - $24 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Assist healthcare providers at Minnesota Rehabilitation Medicine Associates in Minneapolis, MN, US, with documentation and administrative tasks during patient encounters
- Ensure accurate and efficient documentation of patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatments in electronic health records (EHR)
- Transcribe physician orders, prescriptions, and other medical instructions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure timely and precise documentation
- Provide medical administrative suppor,t including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Aid in coding and billing processes to guarantee accurate reimbursement
Qualifications :
Previous experience working as a Medical Scribe or in a similar role is highly preferredUnderstanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support is essential for this positionProficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems is required.Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail are crucial attributesAbility to multitask effectively and thrive in a fast-paced medical environmentExcellent communication skills are necessary to collaborate with healthcare professionalsFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs is a mustA minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role is preferredProficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is expectedA flexible schedule and the ability to work independently are important for this roleAbout Company
