Job Overview - Physical Therapist (Sports Medicine) :
Compensation : $85,000 - $120,000 / year (Dependent on experience)
Location : Lancaster, PA
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Physical Therapist (Sports Medicine) with our client in Lancaster, PA. In this outpatient orthopedic role, you will evaluate patients, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and provide hands-on care for musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries. You'll deliver therapeutic exercise, targeted interventions, and functional performance support. Ideal for licensed PTs passionate about sports rehab and athletic recovery.
Responsibilities as the Physical Therapist :
- Assessment & Care Planning : Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans for injury recovery, pain management, and functional improvement.
- Manual & Therapeutic Interventions : Provide hands-on therapy, including deep-tissue massage and sports-focused mobilizations, to enhance recovery.
- Exercise & Modality Integration : Implement stretching, strengthening, and therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
- Technology & Equipment : Operate physical therapy equipment safely and effectively to support patient outcomes.
- Documentation & Compliance : Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications for the Physical Therapist :
Education : Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.Licensure : Active and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in Pennsylvania is required.Certification : CPR certification is required.Clearances : PA Child Abuse, FBI, and State background clearances required.Experience : 1+ years of outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience required, with 8+ years strongly preferred.Technical Skills : Proficient in therapeutic exercise design, manual therapy techniques, and use of physical therapy equipment and EMR systems.Skills & Attributes : Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient engagement skills with a passion for sports rehabilitation and recovery.Application Notice : Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 business days of application.
