Job Summary
Ensures hiring and occupational compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies. Collaborates with departments to ensure the timely hiring of qualified drivers. This role fosters a compliant and accountable environment while safeguarding the company’s reputation.
Essential Functions
- Facilitate the onboarding of drivers to expedite the driver hiring process
- Understand and apply Federal transportation regulations
- Reviews, processes, and maintains driver applications, Driver Qualification (DQ) files, pre-employment, post-accident, and random drug screens in accordance with applicable regulations
- Daily monitoring of drivers’ statuses
- Work closely with Driver Agents to establish priority drivers
- Update drivers to inform them of their current status
- Coordinate and send applicants to drug screening appointments
- Order reports as needed (MVR, PSP, Background, etc.)
- Upload and verify driver documents
- Completes verifications of employment for drivers
- Work with other companies to obtain and verify information
- Give suggestions to problem solve hiring road blocks and unique situations
- Other duties as assigned
