Revenue Cycle / Collections Specialist (Providence)

Position Summary

The Revenue Cycle Specialist plays an essential role in ensuring the accurate and efficient management of the healthcare centers billing, reimbursement, and financial processes. This position is responsible for performing end-to-end revenue cycle functions including patient registration accuracy, insurance verification, charge capture review, claims submission, payment posting, and account follow-up. The specialist works closely with clinical, billing, and administrative teams to promote optimal reimbursement, minimize denials, and support the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Claims Management

• Prepare, review, and submit clean claims to payers in a timely manner.
• Monitor claim statuses, resolve rejections, and correct billing errors.
• Conduct follow-up with insurance companies to ensure prompt reimbursement.
• Identify and address recurring claim issues and work with internal teams to resolve root causes.
