Certified Medical Coder

A company is looking for a Multispecialty Outpatient Medical Coder. Key Responsibilities Perform quality surgical coding and maintain accuracy in coding services documented in patient charts Work daily on review queues to ensure timely corrections and communicate with facilities regarding re-bills Provide accurate responses to coding and billing inquiries from physicians and hospitals within specified timeframes Required Qualifications, Training, and Education High School Diploma / GED One recognized professional coding certification (CPC, RHIT, RHIA, or CCS) Successful completion of a training course beyond apprentice level for medical technicians or related fields EMR experience Must maintain professional credentials throughout employment
