What You'll Do
The HR Director will lead key Human Resources (HR) functions, including benefits administration, compensation strategy, payroll collaboration, leave-of-absence management, workers' compensation administration, talent acquisition, HRIS management, and HR compliance.
This role ensures that HR programs are aligned with FoundationCCC strategic plan, compliant with federal and state laws, and support a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. This position requires tact, judgement, professionalism, and diplomacy, as well as the ability to balance the needs of the organization, employees, and legal considerations.
- Serve as a strategic partner to leadership on compensation, benefits, HR systems, and workforce strategy.
- Oversee benefits, compensation, and total rewards programs to ensure fairness, equity, and compliance.
- Develop policies, reports, and training that promote organizational effectiveness and transparency.
- Partner with Payroll and Finance to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage leaves of absence, workers' compensation, and workplace safety programs.
- Ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local laws (FMLA, COBRA, ACA, EEO, etc.).
- Oversee HRIS optimization and leverage data analytics for decision-making and workforce planning.
- Lead and mentor HR and talent acquisition teams to deliver exceptional employee experiences.
Attributes for Success
