Mobile Software Engineer
Location : Cincinnati, OH or USA
As a Mobile Software Engineer at LISNR, you’ll architect, build, and maintain high-quality, secure iOS and Android SDKs and applications that drive our B2B Fintech platform. You’ll partner with product managers, designers and fellow engineers to translate requirements into scalable mobile solutions, leveraging your deep technical expertise and data-driven mindset.
The Mobile Software Engineer will leverage deep expertise in native iOS (Objective-C, Swift) and Android (Java, C++) development to architect, build, and maintain secure, high-performance B2B Fintech SDKs and applications. The ideal candidate combines :
- Mobile Mastery : 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and shipping fully native iOS and Android SDKs or apps, with an unwavering focus on UX, performance optimization, and platform best practices.
- Fintech Savvy : Prior work on payment, security-critical, or compliance-driven applications, with a solid understanding of encryption and data protection in mobile contexts.
- Leadership & Collaboration : Proven ability to partner with product managers, designers, QA, and engineering leadership to translate complex requirements into scalable, maintainable architectures.
- Data–Driven Approach : A track record of instrumenting analytics to drive feature prioritization, UX refinements, and performance improvements based on real user metrics.
In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end mobile experience for our Fintech customers—applying your deep mobile skill set to deliver elegant, reliable products that move the business forward.

Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with product, design and project teams to define and evaluate mobile-specific solutionsDesign, implement, test and maintain our iOS and Android SDKs and sample applicationsProduce and maintain Technical Design Documents and API reference guides for mobile platformsDevelop and automate end-to-end tests and UI-level test suites for mobile componentsParticipate in design and code reviews focused on mobile architecture, performance and best practicesIntegrate audio and signal-processing pipelines into native mobile frameworks (Objective-C / Swift, Java / C++)Troubleshoot, profile and optimize mobile performance, memory usage and battery impactKeep abreast of emerging mobile technologies, development tools and platform guidelinesDraft and update technical documentation for internal teams and external partnersProvide feedback on development processes, CI / CD pipelines and mobile release strategiesPartner cross-functionally with UX designers, QA engineers and product managers to deliver elegant mobile experiencesRequired Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field3+ years of native mobile application or SDK development on iOS and / or AndroidProficiency in Objective-C and Swift (iOS) and Java (or Kotlin) and C++ (Android)Experience with developing modules in React-NativeExperience with Android NDK or hybrid mobile frameworksSolid understanding of Agile methodology and requirements analysisExcellent communication skills and ability to manage shifting prioritiesPreferred Qualifications :
C++14 development experience for mobile or embedded contextsExperience with other mobile development frameworks, such as Flutter, Ionic, Xamarin, etc.Familiarity with CMake, Gradle or other mobile build systemsExperience with version control software, preferably GitlabExperience with audio SDKs, DSP or real-time signal processingHands-on with cloud services (AWS, GCP) for mobile backend integrationsKnowledge of cryptography, secure networking and sockets on mobileBENEFITS :
