About the Role

This role involves collaborating with the Danaher Privacy Officer, conducting privacy impact assessments, and leading data breach responses. The Chief Privacy Officer will also be a key partner to business stakeholders, providing guidance on privacy implications of various technologies and leading employee training initiatives to foster a culture of privacy compliance.
Applicants for the Chief Privacy Officer position at the company should have a strong background in data privacy, with a focus on AI and healthcare-related laws. The role requires a minimum of 10 years' of experience in advising on privacy matters, with a preference for those with a background in medical devices, life sciences, or healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in privacy program management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively across organizational lines. A Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) designation is a plus, and the candidate should be adept at anticipating and addressing privacy and regulatory challenges.
