Power Platform & Dynamics 365 Developer

Key Responsibilities

Development & Architecture

• D365 / Power Platform Expertise : Spearhead the development and management of solutions utilizing model-driven apps, canvas apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse .
• Customization & Configuration (8+ Yrs) : Implement and customize D365 Forms, Views, Plug-Ins, and Workflows. Expertly utilize standard and premium connectors with PowerApps and Power Automate.
• Integration : Proficiency with custom connectors, Azure Functions, and API integrations . Familiarity with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services.
• Solution Management : Implement best practices for solution management (managed / unmanaged), environment variables, and reusable components.

Lifecycle & Governance

• Project Support : Aid in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design, configuration, implementation, testing, and support of D365 and Power Platform solutions.
• SME & Liaison : Serve as the primary point of contact and SME for all D365 development efforts. Function as a liaison between the agency and customer agencies, assisting customers in discerning the appropriate technology offerings.
• Governance & Standards : Define and refine a governance approach for the platform's use and ensure solutions adhere to VITA standards and Commonwealth of Virginia IT policies.
• Security : Strong knowledge of role-based security configuration and Microsoft's licensing model for the platforms.

5 Years

Extensive experience with model-driven apps, canvas apps, Power Automate , and Dataverse .

Advanced Tools

2 Years

Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio .

Cloud / Compliance

3 Years

Experience working in a Microsoft GCC tenant . Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services.

DevOps (Desired)

2 Years

Experience with DevOps tools for Power Platform / D365 Environments (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

Agency (Desired)

3 Years

Prior work experience with Virginia State Agencies .
