Join Our Dynamic Medical Team as a Medical Group Front Desk Represetitive!
Are you a friendly, organized, and tech-savvy professional looking to make a real difference in patient care? We are an established multi-specialty Ophthalmology group seeking a motivated Front Desk Representative to be the welcoming face of our busy practice. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
Full time - Monday - Friday - 8am to 5pm
Your Impact :
- Take ownership of all administrative processes (patient tracking, scheduling, treatments, billing, patient records, daily reports, ordering office supplies)
- Supervise receptionists, and all other administrative staff
- Create an efficient schedule for all the Front Desk employees weekly
- Responsible for monitoring / approving and denying Front Desk PTO requests
- Work with other site managers to ensure the front desk is optimized
- Implement effective office policies and procedures
- Assess employee performance and conduct routine performance evaluations
- Understanding of EMR / Practice management software
- Oversee referrals, collections and preauthorization’s
- Work with the doctors in creating a schedule template for patients
- Deal with patient complaints with a friendly and understating demeanor
- Create and maintain a positive work environment for staff
- Perform data entry and processing
- Generate inventory records
What You'll Bring / Requirements :
Reliability, a positive attitude, and excellent teamwork skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Experience in healthcare management.Proficiency in data entry and computer skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional customer service skills.Proven experience in a medical administrative role, with knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.Bonus Points :
