• Programs & Partnerships Manager  Reports to : Director of Career Pathways  Essential Duties and Responsibilities  Under the direct supervision of the Director of Career Pathways, the Programs & Partnerships Manager will create, maintain, and grow partnerships with employers, trade unions, post-secondary institutions, workforce development agencies, and other organizations that lead to high-quality career opportunities.

By facilitating upward mobility both within and beyond Homeboy’s non-profit and social enterprise structures, this Career Pathways Manager will provide bridges for all Homeboy clients that lead from Incarceration to Emancipation.  Key Duties  Supervise a team responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with employers, workforce development agencies, and training partners that lead to high-quality careers opportunities for all Homeboy clients.  Manage grant-funded workforce development and training programs, including implementation, data collection and analysis, fiscal monitoring, reporting, and other compliance-related activities.   Collaborate with Homeboy’s Social Enterprises and Education Team to create pathways within and beyond the organization that lead to high-quality careers.   Develop and maintain existing and new career pathways by establishing and growing relationships with external partners.  Create and sustain a robust portfolio of internships and lead the Workforce Development Team in successfully connecting trainees to these opportunities.  Maintain an active calendar of training opportunities throughout the greater Los Angeles area and lead the Workforce Development Team in successfully connecting trainees to these opportunities.  Other duties as assigned.  Basic Qualifications include :
