Job Description
The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Ignite Community Schools Superintendent. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of organizational challenges in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Education / Certification
- Bachelor’s degree ( preferred )
Experience
4+ years of Administrative Assistant experience supporting a corporate office or school campus in an administrative capacityRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Mastery of standard office administrative practices and proceduresIntermediate concepts and applications of electronic data processingPrinciples of public relationsDemonstrated strong computer literacy (e.g., Word, Excel, Acrobat, Explorer, etc.)Ability to organize work and paper flow effectively and efficiently under a tight scheduleAbility to Multitask and prioritize projects in response to ever-changing prioritiesDemonstrated strong research and writing skillsDemonstrated excellent proof-reading skillsDemonstrated excellent oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated excellent interpersonal relationship skillsAbility to develop and maintain good relationships with clients and corporate personnelAbility to maintain confidentialityDemonstrated strong leadership skillsAbility to be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines under pressureAbility to work as part of a team, as well as to work independentlyResponsibilities and Duties :
Perform clerical functions (e.g., proofreading, preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, etc.)Ensure all reports and data files are arranged in an organized manner so as to avoid any inconvenience in business mattersMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societiesSecure information by completing database backupsImproves quality results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes; implementing changesComplete projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining the cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plansManage projects and conducts researchAbility to work remotely and in Home OfficePrepare for board meetings (e.g., agenda, logistics, resolutions, minutes, etc.)Respond to public information requestsMonitor, screen, respond to, and distribute incoming communicationsDraft and review a variety of documentsMaintain updated corporate documents with the applicable governmental agencyTravel expectations up to 15%Completes all other duties as assignedEquipment Used :
