Job Details

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Senior Accountant, you will :

1. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to : accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.

2. Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.

3. Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.

4. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

5. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

6. Meet processing and reporting deadlines.

7. Respond to information requests, review financial statements, and assist with audits.

8. Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.

9. Lead accounting team members and supervise their performance.

10. Collaborate with the financial team and other business partners to support overall goals and objectives.

11. Work alongside the CFO to maintain financial health and make sure all financial activities are aligned with company goals.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role.

3. Proven experience and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations, with a strong focus on AP / AR processes.

4. High proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g., SAP).

5. CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven business decisions.

7. High attention to detail and accuracy.

8. Ability to direct and supervise.

9. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.

11. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees and to drive initiatives to completion.
