Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac / Telemetry Unit for full-time day shifts. This role is perfect for RNs with a minimum of one year of acute care experience in a cardiac, telemetry, or step-down environment who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

In this role, you will provide individualized bedside care using the nursing process, work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure the highest quality outcomes for our cardiac patients. You will also participate in initiatives such as hourly rounding and may step into a charge nurse role as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver direct patient care in line with the nursing process and hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective care plans.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to healthcare team members.
  • Participate in quality and safety initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Education :

  • Required : Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Preferred : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Licensure & Certifications :

  • Current RN license in the State of Arizona (or eligible).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - required.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - required upon completion of orientation.
  • Experience :

  • Minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience in Cardiac, Telemetry, CVICU, or ICU settings.
  • Preferred : Two or more years in a cardiac step-down or progressive care unit.
  • Skills & Attributes :

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
  • Commitment to exceptional patient care and customer service.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Leadership qualities and mentoring ability for junior staff.
