Job Description
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) role is responsible for handling the day to day relationship with current and new FASTSIGNS customers. We constantly receive e-mail and phone requests and the CSR is responsible for the full cycle :
Capture the customer needsAdvice on potential solutionsWork with design & production so the product is manufactured according to the specificationsPerform quality control checksSchedule installation, ship or handoff the product to the customerA successful CSR is a high energy individual that feels passion to help customers, listens attentively, manages several projects at the same time without losing attention to detail and quality, has great communication skills, is a team player and foremost, understands that a positive experience means we win a customer for life, so is always striving to surpass customer’s expectations.
The CSR also proactively uses his or her abilities to network, obtain new referrals and take over sales and marketing activities to attract new clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and welcome customers in person, via e-mail or phoneListen attentively to the customers needsApply consultative sales techniques to define the best way to help the customer solve their problemProcess estimates, document details about the orders and follow up with clients and coworkers as requiredInteract with design and production to make sure the order is processed accuratelyPerform quality controlSchedule installation, process shipment or notify customers that product is ready for pickupProcess customer payments and follow up if payments are delayedCall customers to follow up and verify all went wellProactively call dormant customers or high potential customers to increase revenue opportunitiesInteract with third party suppliers to source specialty products required by customersInteract with the team in cross training and provide ideas on how to increase sales and productivityQUALIFICATIONS
Comfortable engaging in sales conversations with both known customers and new potential clientsExperience working under pressure with multiple tasks / projects and tight deadlines without losing orientation to detail and qualityStrong organizational and team collaborating skillsExperience in conflict management and conflict resolutionProficient computer and internet skills including Microsoft office suite; adobe suite experience a plusStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic math skillsAt least three years in retail or inside sales or equivalent experience is preferredBachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or design is preferredUnderstanding of and experience in the sign industry preferredMaintain a valid driver’s licenseBenefits
