Locums Internal Medicine - Hematology / Oncology - Tacoma, WA Assignment Dates - Start Date : ASAP- Duration : Ongoing Coverage Need - Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM- Scheduled clinical hours with overnight call for clinic patients only Position Details - Setting : Inpatient and Outpatient- Patient Volume : Average of 15 patients per shift; daily hospital census of 5- Admissions Required : No- Call : 2nd call / back-up, 30-minute response time required- Duties : 60% Oncology and 40% Hematology, focusing primarily on solid tumors; no bone marrow transplants (BMT)- Support Staff : Medical Assistants (MAs) and Registered Nurses (RNs); hospitalist handles first call- EMR System : Epic / Beacon- Facility will accept multiple providers : Yes Submission Requirements - Active WA state license or IMLC- Board Certified or Eligible - Clean history- ABLS, ACLS, BLS Skill Requirements - Specialization in Internal Medicine with Hematology / Oncology focus
