Accounts Payable Manager

Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation has an opening for one (1) full-time Accounts Payable Manager in the Finance Department. This is a full time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are : Monday - Friday, 9 : 00am - 5 : 00pm. Hybrid schedule available.

Principal Duties :

• Ensures the timely and accurate payment of a high volume of invoices and maintains accounts payable system : accurately entering, coding and processing invoices.
• Lead agency's efforts to obtain competitive pricing for its supplies, equipment, insurance, consulting services and other OTPS items.
• Ensures expenses are allocated to the correct GL expense account, cost center and approved program budget.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate staff training of the expense management system.
• Communicates with staff and outside vendors to timely resolve any accounts payable related matters.
• Leads the Agency's BIPOCs procurement strategic objectives.
• Performs month-end AP sub-ledger reconciliation and assists during program audits and annual Agency audit.
• Monitors program budgets regularly to ensure expenditures are within approved budgets.
• Prepares annual overhead expense projections.
• Prepares monthly AP reports and participates in meetings when necessary.
• Hire, supervise, train, and evaluate Accounts Payable Specialist.
• Demonstrates commitment to leadership development, community building, and community organizing as strategies for social change.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
