We are seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our care team and play a hands-on role in supporting patients receiving treatment for mental health and substance use challenges.

What You'll Do :
- Monitor patient behavior, provide emotional support, and document observations accurately.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, daily routines, and facility orientation.
- Help patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, meals, chores, and recreation.
- Ensure a safe environment through room checks, safety rounds, and de-escalation when needed.
- Participate in or lead structured group activities and therapeutic programming.
- Communicate clearly with patients and team members to support individualized care plans.
- Accompany patients to appointments or community-based activities as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical boundaries at all times.
What You Bring :
High school diploma or GED (required)At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health, residential, or related care settings (preferred)A valid driver's licenseAbility to stay calm and composed in high-stress or crisis situationsStrong observation and communication skillsFamiliarity with trauma-informed care and nonviolent de-escalation techniquesWillingness to work as part of a collaborative care teamComfortable with light documentation and the use of electronic health records (EHR)You're a Great Fit If You :
