Temporary Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting screenings, evaluations, and creating tailored treatment plans while maintaining thorough documentation. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient recovery in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including reviewing patient histories and performing assessments to develop effective treatment recommendations. Engage patients and their families in the goal-setting process, ensuring a collaborative approach to care.
• Implement treatment protocols effectively, based on patient evaluations and changing healthcare needs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary and document any changes in patient conditions that may require adjustments to their care plan.
• Manage discharge planning and ensure timely follow-up care. Document all patient care activities accurately, creating clear records that track the patient’s journey from evaluation to discharge.
• Exhibit excellent time management skills and maintain a productive schedule. Uphold professionalism by providing exceptional patient access to care, showcasing empathy and flexibility in a dynamic environment. Take initiative for personal and professional development through continuing education and mentoring new staff.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and represent the department in community outreach efforts. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the achievement of departmental goals.

Qualifications :

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD $74,214.00 - USD $134,596.00 per year.
