Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION :

To conduct analysis and assist with all phases of real estate transaction : refinancing, underwriting, acquisitions and dispositions. This includes the placement and closing of debt and equity for new and existing properties, as well as acquisitions and dispositions of property, portfolio, and partnership interests. Requires curiosity, critical thinking, and desire for continuous learning and improvement. Must be comfortable in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

LOCATION :

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Analyze affordable housing properties, as well as portfolios, and partnership interests

Analyze and interpret complex legal and financial documents (including property operating statements, audits, loan documents, regulatory agreements, organizational documents, etc.).

Communicate, and follow up with potential buyers, sellers, lenders and investors

Help to resolve agency, investor and lender-related issues. Obtain required approvals when required.

Track and report progress of deal activity. Take initiative to push deals along

Perform analysis related to tax credit syndication and mortgage placement. Evaluate debt and equity proposals and make recommendations.

Coordinate across multiple departments to obtain information, track responses, and collaborate to resolve issues.

Other Portfolio Management-related duties and projects as assigned.

SKILLS :

Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal communication skills.

Strong familiarity with MS Office software, with demonstrated proficiency using Excel for complex financial analysis.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet required deadlines.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexible and adaptable; able to complete a wide variety of tasks within varying timeframes.

Resourceful; proactive; eager to learn, tackle problems, and take on new responsibilities.

Business Professional with excellent business judgment.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE :

3+ year’s relevant real estate financial modeling / underwriting experience.

Affordable Housing financial experience preferred, but not required.

The salary rage for this position is $64,000.00 - $67,000.00. The actual compensation may vary depending on a wide range of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, location, etc. This range does not include additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
