Controls Engineer - West Michigan

Responsibilities
- Design and troubleshoot electrical control systems.
- Develop, integrate, and continuously improve manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Provide technical oversight and collaborate with external vendors.
- Update and maintain comprehensive controls documentation.
- Support the build, runoff, and buyoff processes for equipment.
- Collect and analyze production data to enhance system performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.At least 3 years of experience as a Controls Engineer or in automation / controls troubleshooting for industrial machinery.Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.Strong expertise in Allen Bradley control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, and network configurations.Familiarity with Fanuc robots, Siemens Step 7, and Siemens 840D.Hands-on experience with servo motors, VFD drives, and motion control.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Cognex and Keyence vision systems.Background in welding controls and laser welding.Titles Encouraged to Apply
