White County EMS Critical Care Paramedic

PURPOSE OF JOB

Employees in this scope of practice must be able to work with little supervision and be able to supervise all aspects of patient care and work with others for the betterment of the patient. Work performed in answering emergency and non-emergency calls to protect life and property; performs other work as required.

EQUIPMENT / JOB LOCATION

All emergency operations must be performed during all kinds of weather conditions.

The employee may be exposed to extreme heat, smoke, hazardous chemicals, falling materials, all types of home conditions, all types of patient medical conditions, disease processes, bodily fluids, or blood-borne pathogens.

You must be able to safely move, pick up, and transport patients of all sizes and weights.

You must be able to follow HIPPA laws.
