Overview
Mortys Tap & Grille is currently hiring full and part time bartender / server positions.
Mortys Tap & Grille is your locally owned neighborhood restaurant. We want to be the go-to place for great food and great service whether you live on Spokanes south side or not.
Our Staff provides exceptional service to all ages; from kids to seniors and everyone in-between. The team knows how to work together. They are fun and unique individuals. They take pride in what they do, from the front of the house to the back of the house.
Mortys features breakfast, lunch and dinner. We take pride in the food and beverages we serve, the service we provide and the atmosphere we create.
Wage
- Pay range for position : $16.66 to $16.66 per hour

Responsibilities / Duties
Follow all policies and proceduresOn time and attend all meetingsTake orders and payments from customers for food and beverages following all steps of service guidelinesUpsell by being proactive with suggestive selling and alerting customers to specials, promotional items and / or eventsDeliver and announce food and drinks to guests with efficiency, accuracy, and enthusiasmAccommodate and fulfill any special requests for guestsCommunicate and work with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are delivered timely and according to Morty's Tap & Grille standardsCorrect any issues courteously and quicklyCheck with customers throughout their meal to ensure that they are enjoying their visit and take action to correct any problemsMaintain a working knowledge of all food and drink menu items, promotions, ingredients, and prep timeAssist team members with any additional tasks as neededComplete all assigned opening, running, closing duties and side workFollow all health and alcohol beverage service standards and maintain a clean workspaceAdhere to food safety, sanitation and safety guidelinesPlease note, job duties are subject to change at the companys discretion.Skills / Experience
Washington State Food Worker Card (WSFWC)Washington State MAST / Class 12 or 13One (1) year previous restaurant service experience preferredWilling to work a flexible schedule and weekendsAbility to effectively listen to and respond to customer needsStrong work ethic, reliable, aware of the detailsAbility to multitask efficientlyTeam player with a courteous, friendly and professional demeanorAbility to stand for prolonged periods of timeAbility to lift 50+ poundsBenefits :
