What We Are Looking For :

Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for assisting in all Accounts Payable (AP) functions with a primary focus of ensuring timely recording and payment of vendor invoices for all global subsidiaries.

What You'll Do :

• Analyze, code, and enter vendor invoices on a timely basis, paying attention to service periods, taxes and corresponding with other departments for proper general ledger coding for all global subsidiaries.
• Reconcile vendor statements and communicate with vendors to research open or unresolved invoice issues and disputes
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure new vendors are setup according to internal policies (obtaining W-9 or equivalent tax form, verifying 1099 eligibility and maintaining all vendor documentation)
• Process annual 1099 tax forms
• Process employee expense reports in Workday, verify receipts and review coding
• Initiate electronic vendor payments in online banking systems, virtual card payment systems and using online vendor portals as well as preparing check runs for all global subsidiaries.
• Provide professional interaction and response to all levels of employees and vendors
• Assist with providing supporting documentation for the annual financial statement audit
• Assist with the monthly close process, making necessary adjustments and assisting in research with expense account fluctuations
• Perform other general AP duties and / or special projects as needed
What You Need :
• Education :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting and / or related field

1-3 years of previous experience in accounting, previous experience with Netsuite and Workday preferred but not required.

Basic Excel, detail-oriented and organizational skills

Skilled in ability to prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously.
