Procurement Lead Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Lead to join our team on a contract basis in El Cajon, California. In this position, you will play a key role in managing procurement operations and ensuring the smooth execution of purchasing processes. This role requires someone with strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise day-to-day procurement activities and provide operational support to leadership.
• Serve as a key resource for the procurement team, offering guidance and resolving issues.
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring procurement tasks are completed on schedule.
• Process high volumes of transactional purchases, managing approximately 1,000 line items.
• Maintain accuracy in purchase order management and inventory tracking to ensure compliance.
• Facilitate cross-training opportunities within the department to enhance team capabilities.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and procurement specialists to optimize workflows.
• Support contract negotiations and implement effective procurement strategies.
• Promote efficiency and accuracy in all aspects of the procurement cycle.
