Qualifications include but are not limited to :
A high school diploma or GEDPrior leasing experienceBilingual preferred but not requiredProfessional appearance, including attire suitable for the office environment, is required.Problem solver, positive outlook, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.Must be proficient in computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel.Ability to compose notices and communication that is grammatically correct and professional in tone.Experience with Entrata is preferred.Experience with social media including Facebook and InstagramThe ability to walk properties frequentlyThe ability to climb stairs as business dictates and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 poundsTeam player attitudeDependable and detail orientedAbility to work SaturdaysResponsibilities include but are not limited to :
Completing lease agreement and collecting rental depositEnsuring “model” or target apartments are ready for toursMaintaining all resident and property filesHaving thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, and all property policies, as well as current rental rates, sizes, locations, and all amenities of the propertyUtilizing required telephone and leasing techniquesHaving full knowledge of lease application information required, screening processes, and policies.Ensuring a professional appearance and attitude, alwaysConducting daily physical inspections of the property to make sure all vacant apartments are ready.Establishing and maintaining connections with local businesses to provide informational marketing and leasing materialEnsuring that all resident requests or complaints are responded to in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.Ensuring operation within OSHA and EPA standards, as well as following all Fair Housing regulations
