Nexus Family Healing is looking to add several on-call / part-time Youth Skills Workers to our new Restorative Services Program here in Oregon!
Nexus Family Healing , a national non-profit mental health organization serving youth and families for over 50 years, is offering a new statewide Restorative Services program in Oregon starting in September 2025! Our Restorative Services Program will serve youth ages 11-18 who have a level of court involvement which requires the evaluation of their fitness to proceed with their legal participation. With a team of psychologists and social services professionals, Nexus is committed to filling the gaps in service and providing programs that meet the needs of the Oregon youth.

Schedule / Pay / Location :
- On call / part time opportunity : between 4-10 hours a week
- Pay Rate : $24-$27 an hour!
- Remote / Hybrid work in the Oregon community where youth are located
- Targeting a September 1st start date

Client Life Skills Support and Coaching
Assists clients in using age-appropriate self-management skills, including communication, self-regulation, self-help skills, play, social, and relationship skillsProvides de-escalation and therapeutic supports as needed with clientsNotifies and collaborates with Clinical Supervisor in case of crises and emergenciesCompletes clinical documentation in compliance with program expectations; demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills to generate and support program documentation expectations and standardsProgram Facilitation & Consultation
Attends and participates in clinical supervision and team case consultation meetings in accordance with program expectationsCompletes education and training experiences in accordance with program expectationsEnsures minimum hours of direct services as assignedMaintains compliance with all agency, state, and regulatory standards and remain compliant with all HIPAA regulationsAssists in implementing responses to youth behavior and other skills deficits according to the developed treatment planRequirements :
Required Education and Licensure :
Bachelors degree or above in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or universityOR in lieu of a bachelor's degree, a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and three years of relevant work, education, training or experienceMust be QMHA (Qualified Mental Health Associate) qualifiedExperience working with at-risk youth and familiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry skills requiredEducated on and compliant with HIPAA regulationsMust have access to use of personal vehicle for business travelValid driver’s license requiredMust have the ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals or communities and understand their unique needs and challengesMust be open to meeting the cultural needs of individuals or communities, considering factors such as language, traditions, and valuesPreferred Education and Experience :
