POSITION TITLE : Account Developer
REPORTS TO : Customer Development Manager
SUPERVISES : This individual has no staff
MAJOR WORKING
CONDITIONS : Internal contacts are with Vice President Sales and Marketing, Sales and Service Director, Customer Development Manager, Customer Care Associates, Administrative Personnel, Director of Equipment Services, Collections Manager, and Sales Department. External contacts are with Coca-Cola Customers, National Coca-Cola Representatives and Civic Organizations.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS : Market and sell Coca-Cola products to new customers while maintaining existing customer relationships. Responsible for communicating Company programs to customers and asset assignments.
EXEMPT / NON-EXEMPT : Non-Exempt

DUTIES :
- Research, plan and execute cold calls, via in person and / or electronically in search of new business.
- Represent Company in presentation of programs and products.
- Preparation of Company presentation documents to new and existing customers.
- Set up new customers to EO Market.
- Maintain existing customer relationships via visits and quarterly, semi-annual and annual reviews.
- Implement partnership programs to grow business.
- Monthly tracking of new business to ensure Company volume / growth guidelines are attained.
- Respond to customer inquiries.
- Request and coordinate assets for qualifying customers.
- Represent Company at sponsored events, i.e. samplings, civic organizations.
- Company sponsored events may require work on nights and weekends.
- Assist in other Sales and Marketing areas with special projects / deadlines as needed.
- Maintain safe and orderly work environment.
- Work closely with assigned Full Line Operators to ensure Company goals are attained.
- Ensure all reporting submitted for approval is complete and error free.
- Successfully complete all required RCCB training.
- Maintain and submit weekly call log, monthly New Business Report and reports regarding goals and profitability.
- Work with Customer Development Manager, Sales and Service Director, and Director of Equipment Services to properly qualify and expand LMP services by completing P&L to ensure quality placement and positive ROI.
- Attend all safety meetings and successfully complete all safety videos, as required.
- Assist in other departments, as needed.
- Perform other duties needed to ensure overall Company profitability.

Requires a High school diploma or general education development (GED) diplomaAt least three years’ experience in outside sales, cold calling on new businessOutstanding Customer Service SkillsExcellent communication skills with internal and external contactsConsistent and timely follow throughMust be able to identify and resolve any concerns and convert them to opportunitiesAbility to qualify accounts to ensure overall profitability and asset managementAvailability to work some nights and weekendsAbility to Analyze new and existing accounts independently to generate growth and overall profitabilityComputer skills must include PowerPoint, MS Office programs, Outlook, Excel, Internet researchAbility to create and analyze spreadsheetsSocial media skills a plusPrefer experience with Corporate Level Customers, Corporate Food Service Locations, Full Line Vending Operations and Full Service OperationsOutstanding written and verbal skillsProfessional appearanceAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to work independently without direct supervisionAbility to sit for at least 6-8 hours / dailyAbility to walk / stand at least 8 hours / dailyAbility to lift 40 pounds occasionallyAbility to lift 30 pounds over shoulders occasionallyAbility to lift 50 pounds at least once a monthMust have current driver’s license and dependable transportation, position will require use of personal vehicleBilingual in Spanish is a plusAbility to pass the company background and Motor Vehicle Report check and the company drug testing requirements
