- Night shift; 12 hour shifts
As a Process Technician you’ll troubleshoot the injection molding process to ensure machines are working properly, while supporting the efficient operations and continuous improvement of the process. In this role, you will also change out molds, train mold setters and assist on the shop floor when needed. This is a Safety Sensitive position.
Major Responsibilities
Maintain control of processes for injection molding and EOAT (End of Arm Tooling) for automation.Verify correct set-up of molds, processes, and auxiliary equipment before machine start up.Establish proper molding conditions, perform process monitoring, and troubleshooting.Ensure consistency with product quality and adhere to HMS Quality Standards.Perform mold, material, and tooling changes and tooling maintenance as dictated by the schedule.Follows daily production schedule and prioritize work for improved efficiency.Maintain setup sheets, record changes, and communicate with Sr. Process Technician, Shift Supervisor, and Engineering department of problems that arise.Maintains 5S housekeeping and adheres to all safety guidelines to include wearing of PPE.Other duties as assigned.Skills Required
High school Diploma or GED.Must have at least 3 years of injection molding experience to include working with injection mold processes, robots, the ability to setup, start, and troubleshoot injection molds, working with quality standards, and automation.Must be detail oriented, logical, and methodological in approach to problem solving.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds, sit, stand, and move about facility for extended periods of time.
