Salary : PLNU pays its faculty using a pay scale based on experience and academic rank. Faculty salaries using this scale for a 3-semester appointment range from $87,210 to $142,678. The actual salary will be based on the experience, rank, and appointment term of the candidate selected to fill this position.
Job Description : The Master of Science in Occupational Therapy Program (MSOT) is seeking candidates for a 3-term, tenure-track academic fieldwork coordinator (AFWC) role to coordinate the fieldwork program and provide instruction in the MSOT curriculum. The AFWC is assigned 50% release time (13 credits per year) to meet the needs of fieldwork coordination. Teaching, scholarship, and service will not constitute more than 50% (14 credits per year) of the position. We invite strong candidates to consider applying for this position who have prior experience developing fieldwork curriculum and securing and maintaining clinical partners for a graduate occupational therapy program. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to excellent leadership and expertise in teaching in a Christian liberal arts context, will display a strong potential for applied scholarship and service in healthcare, and will embrace the mission of Point Loma Nazarene University.

Responsibilities : Responsibilities begin August, 2025 and will include obtaining and maintaining clinical placements for community, Level I and Level II Fieldwork experiences, continued development of the MSOT fieldwork program, and providing student instruction in their areas of clinical expertise.
