WHAT YOULL BE DOING

The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor is a key position in our Southern Nevada and Arizona lead the activities of the fleet maintenance department to ensure that fleet and heavy equipment is available dependable and safe at all times and youll oversee the fleet preventive maintenance (PM) program.

Reporting to our Fleet Maintenance Manager youll lead a team of Fleet Maintenance Mechanics at several locations. Youll work with commercial drivers forklift drivers dispatch and plant leadership to ensure on schedule safe delivery of Jensen products.

A highlight of your day-to-day will include :

• Directing activities related to the fleet maintenance department.
• Planning and preparing work schedules.
• Ensuring all safety procedures are followed and projects assigned are completed according to expectations and within the timeframe required to complete the task.
• Maintaining files on all forklifts trucks and trailers for maintenance including repairs and costs.
• Ensuring all trucks and trailers are DOT compliant.
• Planning for and scheduling ongoing preventive maintenance (PM) programs in compliance with company guidelines and government regulations.
• Providing guidance and technical advice to fleet maintenance employees and training them on how to properly maintain the fleet.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Youre enthusiastic and motivated in a fast-paced team environment. You have demonstrated fleet maintenance experience (DOT requirements diesel engines brake system cranes hydraulics tractor and trailer maintenance) preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Youre a lifelong learner with a combination of formal education (Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification and CDL) and at least four (4) years of solid on-the-job experience including prior supervisory experience. Bilingual in English / Spanish preferred.
