Hours & Working Conditions (as designated)
- Average 40 hours per week (typically 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. weekdays)
- Overtime as required -On call over weekends as required
- May work outside, in crawlspaces, closets, and attics
- Work with sheet metal and sharp objects -Lifting and physical exertion required
Duties and Responsibilities :
Troubleshoot equipment and related job problemsPresent findings and options to customers, providing advise as needed / requestedComplete approved repairs, improvements, or installations within industry standard hours per repair pricing guideClean equipment / work area -Ensure complete customer satisfaction upon completionComplete all paperwork required by managementCollect for work performed if required : documents, payment or signaturesMaintain truck inventory -Keep assigned service vehicle organized and cleanTrack vehicle maintenance and alert management when maintenance is necessaryContact the office following the completion of each call, providing requested information regarding the work completed, and receiving dispatch instructions for the next callProvide customers with information and pricing on service agreements, accessories, and other comfort improvementsProvide customers with information on new equipment when repairs exceed specified amount and / or existing equipment exceeds 10 years of agePerform equipment installations and / or maintenance work if neededIdentify and suggest opportunities for quality and cost improvementsOther duties as neededJob Requirements :
EPA certified PreferredAbility to push, pull, lift and carry 50LBS capacityA valid driver’s license with good driving record as required by the company insurance carrier(s)Ability to Drive, walk, go up and down stairs, bend, reach, crawl in small placesAbility to speak, write and read EnglishAbility to troubleshoot and provide repairs, or service or installations with the quality of excellence required by Total Appliance technician level.Two or more years of experience in the direct position appliedAbility to follow company processes instructions, directions, policies and procedures.Standard technician tools required.Neat, clean, and professional appearancePerformance Metrics :
