Job Title : Welder

Job Description

This position is for a MIG welder at a manufacturing company located in South Bend. The role involves welding various components for structures, including floors and side panels, using MIG welding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on different types of beams and channels, such as I-beams.
• Retrieve materials from designated locations using an overhead crane.
• Follow blueprints to fit materials in the correct positions.
• Conduct TAC MIG welds to secure materials in place.

Work Environment

The role is based in a manufacturing facility. The work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, typically from 5 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m., with occasional work on Fridays. The average workweek ranges from 40 to 48 hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Bend, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr.
