About the Role

The Company is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in nonprofit financial leadership, particularly in real estate finance and cost accounting. As a pivotal member of the Finance Department, you will oversee the preparation of financial statements, lead annual audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Your responsibilities will include managing financial aspects related to real estate development and asset management, guiding a talented finance team, and collaborating closely with other departments to optimize budget performance. We seek a candidate with a Master’s degree in a relevant field, a CPA designation, and 8-10 years of financial management experience, preferably within the nonprofit sector, with a focus on affordable housing development.

This role is crucial for fostering collaborative cross-departmental efforts, streamlining reporting processes, and identifying growth opportunities for our organization. You will showcase your strategic planning skills, manage cash flow, loans, and lines of credit, while demonstrating strong leadership and management abilities.

Proficiency in financial software is essential, with experience in Great Plains and Oracle Net Suite being a plus. We value adaptability, initiative, and exceptional interpersonal skills in our candidates. The successful applicant will be able to perform under pressure, work independently as well as collaboratively, and possess a comprehensive understanding of financial principles and practices.
