Certified Recreational Therapist - BH - PRN

Responsibilities

This position is for a PRN, Certified Recreational Therapist for Both our Adult and Children Facilities.

Job Duties :

Plan, organize, and lead the recreation programs. Assist with direct client care.

• Assess client leisure needs and develop behavioral treatment plans, goals, and interventions which are goal focused and evidence based.
• Document assigned client's progress on a weekly basis in a timely manner. Develop a weekly schedule of planned client activities.
• Work with RT coordinator in monitoring RT programming to ensure programming is well balanced, coordinated and goal centered.

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) from four-year college or university; must have CTRS certification or be scheduled to take next exam upon hire.
