About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) with a strong background in leadership and team collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a BSN and a Master’s degree in Nursing or be in the process of obtaining the Master’s degree. A minimum of 5 years of acute hospital experience, including at least 2 years in nursing management, is required. The CNO will be responsible for high-acuity patient care and is expected to be highly visible, spending approximately 50% of their time on the floor. This role demands a leader who can demonstrate a history of strong leadership and the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
The successful CNO will oversee a range of departments, including Nurse Managers, Nurse Supervisors, and various clinical support services. While the position involves significant on-the-floor presence, the CNO will also serve on the senior leadership team and report directly to the CEO. The company places a high value on regional support, offering a robust preceptorship program and a smooth onboarding process. The CNO will be supported by a dedicated staffing coordinator for administrative support.
