Job Description

The Naval Nuclear laboratory is seeking Industrial Electricians to join our Essential Support Systems team. We are seeking electricians with a background in industrial maintenance and repair of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment for all voltages up to 13.8 KV, trouble shooting and repair of electrical control systems, lighting systems and machinery, perform maintenance and repair of cranes, operating emergency generators, maintaining emergency backup systems, follow Company Policy's, rules, and safety regulations.

This position requires :

• Achieving radiological, environmental, and safety qualifications
• Achieving Essential Support System and crane maintenance qualification
• Working at heights above the ground including climbing ladders, elevated surfaces and wearing fall protection equipment
• Work Overtime and Irregular hours
• Work in Cold and Hot environments
• Must be able to lift >

50 pounds

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

High school diploma or equivalent and5 years Commercial / Industrial licensed journeyman experience and aCurrent Idaho State Electrical License

Pay Range

$41.75 - 44.62 hourly

Jobs categorized as subject to a collective bargaining agreement will adhere to the pay rates, wage increases, progression schedules, and other parameters identified and negotiated in said agreements. For nearly 70 years, the Naval Nuclear Laboratory has developed advanced nuclear propulsion technology, provided technical support, and trained world-class nuclear operators to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our nation's submarine and aircraft carrier Fleets.
