Overview
This is a civilian contractor CRNA opportunity supporting inpatient surgical and anesthesia services within a structured clinical environment. No military service required.
A Texas state license is required for this role.
Practice Highlights
- Full-scope anesthesia practice (general anesthesia, regional techniques, OB epidurals, and perioperative coverage)
- Work independently within defined clinical scope
- Self-scheduling model (flexibility based on coverage requirements)
- Pager call rotation required
- Long-term contract with potential to extend
- Credentialing timeframe approximately days
Candidate Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia programCurrent CRNA certification (AANA / NBCRNA)Active, unrestricted RN license and Texas APRN licensure (or eligibility support available)Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS (no online-only certifications)Minimum 2 years of recent CRNA experience in the last 3 yearsCompetent in general anesthesia, epidural / spinal anesthesia, IV regional techniques, airway management, and perioperative evaluation / documentationSchedule & Coverage
Full-Time strongly preferred ; local PRN candidates may be consideredFlexible scheduling coordinated with clinical team needsPrimary coverage in the OR with additional perioperative patient management responsibilitiesExpected to follow established clinical documentation and communication standardsCompensation & Benefits
