This full-time, in-person position supports the organization’s internal operations by ensuring smooth purchasing and credit card reconciliation processes. Salary Range : $22.50–$23.85 per hour, DOE
Bonus : Bilingual candidates are eligible for an additional $1.50 / hour differential (not included in the salary range above)

Position Summary :
The Purchasing Specialist will work under the direction of the Finance Director and provide purchasing support to direct service staff throughout the agency. This position involves managing agency credit cards, ensuring purchases align with organizational policies, and reconciling transactions. The role also includes cross-training with another Purchasing Specialist for shared coverage responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage purchasing and receiving from order placement to reconciliation
Maintain accurate purchase order records in accounting software
Communicate directly with vendors regarding changes, discrepancies, and product issues
Track expenses related to specific projects
Support users in purchasing software, including product data and user access
Provide training and support to staff on purchasing and receiving procedures
Reconcile credit card usage and ensure policy compliance
Maintain sensitive purchasing documentation
Serve as a backup to the other Purchasing Specialist
Take on additional duties and cross-training responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Associate degree in Accounting preferred
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communicator and team player
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
Ability to pass a background check
TB test (provided by employer)
