Apple Valley Health Care Center, a Cassia community, is hiring a Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator to join our team! As a Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator at Apple Valley Village, you will organize and schedule appropriate clinical department coverage, including the master schedule, daily schedule and scheduling replacements for shifts. You will also perform HR tasks such as compiling employee files, training and scheduling employees.

Position Type : Full-Time including working every other weekend and every other holiday

Hours : 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm or 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm

Pay : $22.50 -$26.00 / hour depending on experience

Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities :

• Coordinate schedule and staffing levels for the nursing department.
• Interview candidates for open CNA and HHA positions.
• Conduct reference checks and background checks for potential employees.
• Track continuing educational programs for staff.
• Complete daily budget report for all nursing hours.
• Track attendance and complete disciplinary action forms.
• Stock memory care units and care suites with supplies each week.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
