Job Title : Mechanical Estimator

Location : Farmingdale, NY

Salary : $90K$120K + Benefits

We are a leading mechanical contractor in Farmingdale, NY, delivering HVAC solutions for commercial buildings, high-rise residential towers, retail centers, and institutional projects. Our focus is on quality, efficiency, and keeping projects on schedule while exceeding client expectations.

Were seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will review project drawings and specifications, create precise cost estimates, and support the preparation of competitive bids. Youll work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure every project starts on the right track.

Responsibilities :

  • Examine project plans, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate estimates
  • Prepare detailed HVAC cost projections for commercial and high-rise project
  • Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather pricing and scope details
  • Track material costs, labor rates, and subcontractor quotes
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of bids
  • Support budgeting and cost control efforts throughout projects

Requirements :

  • Proven experience estimating HVAC work on commercial and high-rise projects
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, materials, and installation practices
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Comfortable using estimation software and Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
