Human Resource Trainee

JOB DESCRIPTION

Farm Credit of Northwest Florida is hiring for a Human Resource Trainee to work in the Tallahassee office. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to build a career in Human Resources through hands-on experience and guided development. Over the course of two years, the Human Resource Trainee will support a wide range of HR functions including employee engagement, training coordination, compliance, payroll, and recruiting. The role offers exposure to both administrative and strategic aspects of HR, with increasing responsibilities over time.

Training Timeline & Duties :

Months 1-9 : Introductory Phase

• Support learning system administration and training video editing.
• Assist with employee engagement events and communications.
• Assist with development of mentoring and internship program planning.
• Monitor office environment and manage supplies.
• Prepares agendas and minutes in alignment with Roberts Rule of Order and organizational bylaws.

Months 9-24 : Expanded Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate :

The base salary range for the position is $37,900-$46,000 plus variable compensation tied to a general incentive plan. Additionally, up to 9% employer contribution to your 401K as part of a full benefits package. Proficient in English and bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 : 00 - 5 : 00. This position is not eligible for remote work.
