We are looking for an Engineering Designer to support our Electronics Packaging department. As a member of the Electronics Packaging group, you'll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside Mechanical Engineers and Electrical Engineers to make our technologies a reality. This position will be based on-site at our company Launch Vehicles, in Chandler, AZ.

Responsibilities :

" Support the modeling, drafting, and release of new or existing mechanical parts and assemblies related to launch vehicle avionics using Siemens NX managed with Teamcenter.

" Support the modeling and drafting of electrical printed wiring assemblies (PWA's).

" Communicate project status to Responsible Engineers.

" Collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on the design of various system components.

" Compile digital product definition packages for final release per ASME Y14.41 - Digital Product Definition Data Practices using Siemens NX PMI and Teamcenter.

Basic Qualifications for Engineering Design :

" Minimum 2 years of related experience. Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience.

" Experience with design, drafting, and release of mechanical parts utilizing Siemens NX and Teamcenter.

" Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing per ASME Y14.5-2009.

Preferred Qualifications for Engineering Design :

" Experience with design and drafting using PMI (digital product definitions) in Siemens NX.

" Experience drafting electrical assemblies (PWA's).

" Familiarity with the design of Avionics for use in flight vehicles.

" ASME GDTP Certification Preferred.
