Job Title : Product Manager (Home Comfort)
Summary : The Product Manager is responsible for driving the development and launch of new fan and motor products and product enhancements for the Home Comfort market (residential heating, cooling, and ventilation) in support of the regional strategy. They manage their product lines throughout the product lifecycle from market analysis to product planning to new product commercialization. This role involves overseeing product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals, and working closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing / Operations, and R&D / Engineering.
Essential Functions of the Job : The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform the following :
- Manage the Home Comfort product portfolio for the Americas, including new and existing product lines, in alignment with the regional strategy, and maintain and prioritize the product roadmap. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing iteration.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the markets, competitors, and customer needs and applications related to their product lines.
- Define and initiate product development projects including collection of customer and market requirements and development of supporting business cases, including sales volumes and target pricing.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize features based on business value and customer impact.
- Support the product launch strategy and related marketing activities to ensure rapid market adoption of new product offerings.
- Align the regional product portfolio and developments with global product platforms in collaboration with the Global Product Management team.
- Designate products for phase-out through continuous monitoring of the regional product portfolio and identify replacement products and schedule when appropriate. Align these activities with the overall strategy to prevent portfolio gaps.
- Participate in customer discussions, including travel to customer facilities, to identify unmet product needs and present in-process product developments to drive interest and solicit feedback.
- Provide regular communication, support and training to customer-facing teams, including Sales, Applications Engineering, and service teams / distributors.

Can navigate changing market conditions and customer requirements, and shift priorities to maximize product success.Informal leadership : Comfortable exerting influence on major stakeholders in the business (Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance) without direct authority. Exhibits dedication to meeting goals and achieving positive outcomes for customers.Recommended Education and / or Experience :
Master / Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required.Preferred Degrees : Business Administration, Product Engineering, or another technical discipline.3+ years proven track record in Product Management.
